Taba Heights is fast becoming the new leisure haven and luxury gateway for both land and seafarers alike.
Located in close proximity to three different countries: Israel by land, Saudi Arabia and Jordan by sea; Taba Heights is the ideal port of call, especially now for seafarers who wish to take a voyage up the Red Sea and cruise the Gulf of Aqaba.
Granted an International Tourist Marina license in July 2005, the Taba Heights Marina is the first legitimate port of entry in the region. Formerly, in order to sail or cruise Egyptian waters, boats were required to first check in at other, more distant points of entry like Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada or Alexandria. Now, thanks to Taba Heights, there is a more localized port that offers maritime visitors direct access, entry and secure moorings, making the Gulf of Aqaba a much more attractive and appealing destination to sail to.
Taba Heights Marina currently has approximately 11,500 square metres of water area, with depths of between 2.5 and 3 metres near the main building. The marina can comfortably accommodate up to 50 yachts and provide overnight mooring.
The international marina license also provides the means and opportunity for Orascom Hotels and Development (OHD), Taba Heights' owning company, to strengthen and increase its marine linkages to its other luxury destinations, including El Gouna and Tala Bay.
As soon as Taba Heights' sister project comes online at Tala Bay in Aqaba, additional services will be provided to the marina there as well. This will benefit guests at both resorts as the port is much closer in distance, reducing travel time between Jordan and Taba Heights from 60 to only 30 minutes.
Excursions to Jordan
Currently, sea trips across the Gulf allow guests an opportunity to visit Jordan and from there Israel by providing access from the Taba Heights Marina to the Royal Yacht Club in Aqaba. From the neighbouring marina, day trips to the ancient city of Petra are organised. In the near future, sea trips will be added to the private Tala Bay Resort Marina, Taba Heights' sister resort in Jordan.

The Taba Heights Marina's prime position is evidenced by its close distance to neighbouring ports:
- Tala Bay Resort and Marina, Aqaba: nine nautical miles
- Taba Heights to Royal Yacht Club, Aqaba: 13 nautical miles
Visitor Information
Arriving boats are requested to observe the following policies:
- Arrival and mooring requests must be submitted during official working hours to the Marina management 24 hours in advance of arrival
- Approval of the request will be provided in writing to each boat for confirmation of the date and time of arrival
- Submitting the appropriate Arrival Request Form filled out in full will allow Marina authorities to process and return the confirmation letter with due haste

The Taba Heights Marina keeps regular working hours according to the season:
- Summer (April to September): 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- Winter (October to March): 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
